Jim Gardiner
Owner / CEO
With 25 years of commercial construction experience, Jim is responsible for overseeing all company operations. He founded Gardiner & Adams in 2010 after the successful sale of his family’s contracting business, Gardiner & Gardiner.
He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED Green Associate and has a Thirty (30) Hour OSHA certification and Maryland Green Card (Sediment Control).
He is also a proud graduate and Board Member of the Purdue University Polytechnic Institute, with a BS in Building Construction Management.
In addition to his duties with Gardiner & Adams and Purdue, Jim has also served as a Board Member of the Salvation Army’s Annapolis chapter, the Associated Builders & Contractor’s Chesapeake chapter, and the Anne Arundel Community College’s Construction Advisory Board.

Mike Adams
President
With 50+ years of commercial construction experience, Mike is responsible for project selection and management, estimating, and all phases of construction.
Mike graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Business Administration. He is a NAVFAQ Construction Quality Manager as well as a NAHB certified Green Building Professional.
Mike met Jim and they’ve been working together for 17 years, they met through his father’s business at Gardiner & Gardiner. Mike joined the G&G team in 1990 as the company’s Vice President, then becoming the SVP and eventually the President in 2005. In 2014, Mike joined Jim at his new venture.
Mike has a Thirty (30) Hour OSHA certification and Maryland Green Card (Sediment Control) and He is a NAVFAQ Construction Quality Manager as well as a NAHB certified Green Building Professional.
